Companies that specialize in helping CPG brands offload unsold inventory say they're receiving an influx of unsold inventory in categories like energy drinks, chips and cookies. Executives at these liquidation platforms believe it's due to a range of factors, including a rise in GLP-1 usage, increased competition and a challenging macroeconomic environment.
Ten months after its relaunch, Limited Too is looking to partner with contemporary brands to stay up-to-date with trends, nab more sales and reach new customers. Its first brand collaboration rolls out in May, in partnership with coconut water brand Vita Coco.
In a letter sent to many sellers last week, Amazon acknowledged the growing strain of trade disruptions. But half a dozen sellers and consultants who reviewed the letter believe it fell short specifically on the issue of whether sellers will lose the all-important "buy box" if they raise prices to offset rising import costs.
